2011-12 School Year
Fully funded and helped to organize the celebration of the High School's 50th Anniversary. Activities included special t-shirts that each student and staff received. The group photo of students as shown on our home page. There was an alumni night to recognize all of the 50 graduated classes. In December, a Home for the Holidays concert was presented. In February, we held a "Proud to be an Eagle" night. We supported the Fine Arts Festival and we provided a special speaker for graduation. The highway billboard was part of our year long celebration, as well as seeing the logo designed by the committee of the Celebration on school letterhead, lapel pins and banners throughout the school.
We also contributed two iPads for the first grade area, awarded funding for the high school science department for a Spectrophotometer and contributed to the school highlight video that showcases the wonderful people and opportunities that Southern Door has to offer.
